Short biography
Dr. Ana Santos Kühn is Managing Director of the IAS beginning from January 2011.
She was from 2006 to 2009 Chief of Staff of the President of TUM. From 2004 to 2006 she was managing a private company in Lisbon. From 2000 to 2004 she worked in research at both TUM and Universidade Nova de Lisboa as Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and with a fellowship of the Portuguese Research Foundation. She studied Chemical Engineering in Lisbon and did her PhD in chemistry at the chair of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Wolfgang A. Herrmann at TUM.
