The Institute for Advanced Study is truly defined by the excellent scientists and engineers who carry the title of Fellow. The Fellows of the TUM-IAS include both the senior- and early career-level scientists both from within the TUM and around the world, from academia as well as from industry. Together, the IAS Fellows form a special community that leaves the door open for future intellectual and scientific exchange.
The Board of Trustees is formed by a group of international advisors from academia, research support organizations and from industry.
The staff of TUM-IAS supports the Fellows and coordinates the development of the Institute.
