Liesel Beckmann Symposia

Starting in 2007 the Institute of Advanced Study launched the first in a series of symposia on topics relating to gender and diversity. The symposia are named after Liesel Beckmann, the first female professor appointed to TU München. On an annual rotation, we will invite experts from different specialities to Munich to explore various aspects of this subject.
