TUM-IAS Member Prof. Andrzej Buras awarded the honorary title of "TUM Emeriti of Excellence"
Since 2006, TUM has been bestowing the honorary title of “TUM EMERITI OF EXCELLENCE” on retired professors for their outstanding achievements and unflagging commitment to TUM. With the benefit of independence, experience and reputation, these distinguished advisors continue to play an important role in university life. They also underpin TUM’s diversity strategy – adding value to TUM’s culture by embracing excellence across all generations.
On April 1, 2012 a new Emeriti of Excellence have been awarded:
Prof. Andrzej Buras
Physics Department, Institute T31 for Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics, TUM;
Member of the TUM-IAS Advisory Council
