Successfull TUM-IAS & Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies (UBC) Workshop on “Coherence and Decoherence at Ultracold Temperatures”

The symposium held September 6-9, 2011 at the TUM Institute for Advanced Study discussed recent discoveries and identified new directions in the field of coherent light-matter interactions for the control of cold (<1K) and ultracold (<1mk) molecular matter.
The 4-days event has been jointly organized by TUM-IAS and the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies, University of British Columbia (PWIAS).
The organizing committee consisted of Francesca Ferlaino (UIBK), Roman Krems (UBC), Kirk Madison (UBC), Valery Milner (UBC), Guido Pupillo (UIBK), Gerhard Rempe (MPI of Quantum Optics), and Moshe Shapiro (UBC).
