Prof. Horst Kessler works as a "Carl von Linde Senior Fellow" on organic chemistry and bio chemistry topics at TUM-IAS.

The main topics of his research are the development of cell adhesion molecules for improvement of biomaterials and molecular imaging, as well as NMR work, for understanding the function and interaction of proteins. He collaborates with a number of scientists in biochemistry, biophysics, and medicine, as well as with several industrial partners.
